New Combinations

We work to create new partnerships, or new opportunities, providing introductions not to just new organizations or industry sectors, but also social entrepreneurs, funds, and management teams.

  • We think ahead a few steps on what assets and relationships a company wants to craft to build the strongest futures it desires.

  • We also create introductions between companies, visionaries, industry leaders, funding sources, and technologies.

Planning and Execution: We help organizations plan for how they can execute these futures.

Since 2001, Maremel has been helping organizations understand how to build better futures.

Much of its work has been focused on helping existing media organizations understand the dramatic changes in the world around them and how to make strategic decisions based on visions and goals for that future.  These engagements have included targeted board-level in-depth working sessions, short-term engagements to evaluate deals and acquisitions, and regular cross-industry meetings-of-the mind.   Clients and partners have ranged from major media associations and alliances on proactivie initiatives and strategies to medium and small-sized media firms on partnerships, new technology deployments, and evaluation of marketing alternatives. Maremel also has worked with a wide variety of start-ups and small companies (of which it owns pieces of quite a few) looking to grow in these changing environments, and as a result has developed an extensive rolodex in very diverse industry sectors.

Maremel also builds executive programs and partnerships with leading educational institutions.  It has worked extensively with UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education program on week-long disruptive media strategy programs for US and international media executives as well as with USC’s Institute for Communications Technology Management as part of their innovative leadership program for telecom executives.   These high-value programs focus on building strategic planning and decision-making abilities in understanding technology, social trends, competitive intelligence, community engagement, organizational learning growth, and creating desired competencies for proactive futures.
