Collaboration Tools

In this workshop, we will highlight ways to collaborate both inside and outside of your organization.  We will examine:

  • Available collaboration tools, ranging from Google Docs, Dropbox, Zoho, and online resources
  • Ways to store and tag shared information, including Zotero, Delicious, and Evernote
  • Expectations — how to share and collaborate
  • Setting up rules of the road – e.g., versioning, credit, positive feedback
  • Available project management resources online — group and calendaring tools
  • Free collaborative learning spaces, e.g., Wikis, Moodle, Sakai – other free stuff
  • Group concept maps, including using myWebspiration and VUE
  • Ownership and copyright of shared creations
