Musicians, artists, songwriters, visual artists, actors…we are all brands. And in this perpetually connected world of digital devices, our fan community already exists. It is already enjoying other brands that might be a lot like us. And they are waiting to find out about our work…if we can just find them.
This work stems from three years of classes at UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music for a group of pop singers, opera singers, songwriters, recording engineers, and more extreme musicians. Their world around them is creation of great music. How do they figure out who to work with, who their fans are, who influences them, and how they can work on a time-efficient basis with all of this social media “stuff” while creating great creative experiences?
